Feedtrace

“Every day, hundreds of tweets fly past our eyes with links to important articles, meaningless drivel and the occasional self-promotion. There’s little, if any, way to tell what’s important and what’s not. Feedtrace has stepped in to try to fill this void and let you know what people are linking to that you might care about.” Read Write Web.

“Feedtrace has potential to be a great way of weeding out informational noise, and making sure you only see and find what you need to know about — whether it’s all over Twitter or on any other site you can think of.” Venture Beat.

My work was design the frontend (and program a part of it) and the user interaction using CSS, HTML and Fireworks. Also, I designed and animate the tutorial for the tool using Flash Professional.

The second part of the project was use the real time search engine based in a non-relational database (MongoDB) to recommend videos based on twitter followings and followers.

“Feedtrace.tv helps you find the hottest videos currently being shared on twitter. This is a killer site to pass some time.” Twi5.

Finally, the project envolve to Instant Pulp, a gossip site that recommends trending topics on the web.
